Habitational Insurance

Habitational insurance (also called condominium/apartment insurance), provides coverage for Florida commercial rental property owners who own apartment complexes, condominiums, hotels, and high-rises. Habitational insurance also provides coverage for homeowners associations (HOAs).

Florida habitational insurance is designed for landlords of tenant-occupied dwellings to cover structures larger than four units. It focuses on repairing or replacing rental property, structures associated with the property, and any contents that are owned by the owner's business (excludes tenant belongings).

Habitational insurance provides liability coverage in case of tenant or employee injury and covers loss caused by wind, water, hurricane, tropical storms, tornados, fire, theft, malicious damage or vandalism by the dwelling's tenants.
